Meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / European Commission Vice-President

On March 27, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas.

The parties discussed issues of further expanding bilateral and regional relations. It was noted that cooperation between the regions is growing rapidly, many results are being achieved, and there are broader opportunities in the future.

Confidence was expressed that the First «Central Asia – European Union» Summit, to be held in Samarkand on April 3-4, could strengthen effective ties for the well-being of our peoples and open the way to new opportunities.
