Meeting with China Kaolin Clay Co., Ltd.

On 24 November this year the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing held a meeting with the Deputy Director General of China Kaolin Clay Co. Jiang Guoming.

Together with China Kaolin Clay Co. Ltd. the Uzbek side proposed to organize 1) joint development of kaolin deposits in Uzbekistan with attraction of Chinese investments, 2) scientific and geological studies of perspective areas and kaolin processing, 3) organization of joint trainings for specialists of the industry using possibilities of Chinese company.

Highlighting the importance of the large reserve of kaolin raw material, which makes it possible to fully cover the internal demand of the country, but also to export raw materials to neighbouring countries, the deputy director general pointed out the following. "Our meeting was held on a very good level and we learned a lot of useful things for our company, taking into account the information provided about available reserves of kaolin and infrastructure in Uzbekistan, I think that there is a good basis and possible cooperation with enterprises of your country will be a new direction and mutually beneficial for China Kaolin Clay Co.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a joint meeting between China Kaolin Clay Co. Ltd. and representatives of the State Geology Committee, Uzpromstroymateriali, FEZ "Angren" and "Angren Kumir" to identify more specific areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.
